Job Description

Graphic Designer:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Graphic Designer for a 12-month role. This position is onsite only at our client’s Getzville, New York office.

Graphic Designer - Job Description:
The Graphic Designer will work within the Presentation Technology group, providing services to internal banking clients. The role involves producing live deal, pitch book, and custom design materials for high-profile investment banking transactions. The candidate will work on a variety of marketing materials using advanced MS Office and Adobe applications.

Graphic Designer - Responsibilities:
• Produce a variety of marketing materials such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics
• Assist with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions
• Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations
• Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded
• Liaise with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines and design requirements
• Complete related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking
• Assist with Intake coordination when required
• Responsible for quality control of own work and assist colleagues with QC tasks
• Buddy new starters post-training
• Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives

Graphic Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
• 3-5 years of admin/operational support in a corporate, service-oriented environment
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creativity and strong understanding of graphic design and layout principles

Graphic Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender
• Knowledge of external print processes

Graphic Designer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Getzville, New York, onsite only.
